Imran ShafiFoundation Governor, Member of De Beauvoir Local Advisory Board

Imran Shafi is a senior civil servant at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. Before this role, he was the Prime Minister’s private secretary for public services (including education policy).

Imran has been a Hackney resident for five years and lives next to one of the federation’s schools. He is hugely passionate about education and ensuring everyone has equal life chances.
