Springfield is very proud of our many awards – here are just a few:
NLEs use their success and professionalism as school leaders, along with the staff in their schools – designated as National Support Schools – to provide additional leadership capability in schools requiring support.
Springfield was awarded Gold Club status under a scheme set up by the previous Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, to recognise exceptional schools in the capital. The Gold Club was part of the Mayor’s drive to boost standards and raise attainment for all schoolchildren wherever they live in the capital and regardless of background.
Together young people and the school community learn about children’s rights, putting them into practice every day. The Rights Respecting Level 2 Award is not just about what children do but also, importantly, what adults do. In Rights Respecting Schools children’s rights are promoted and realised, adults and children work towards this goal together.
The Primary Science Quality Mark is an award scheme to enable primary schools across the UK to evaluate, strengthen and celebrate their science provision.
The Eco-Schools Awards. The Eco-Schools Green Flag is an internationally recognised award for excellence in environmental action and learning.
The School Games Silver Award! The School Games Mark is a Government led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust, to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community.
