Teachers are available for brief enquiries after school. If you need a longer appointment, please contact the class teacher via the school office on the number above or admin@springfield.hackney.sch.uk

Can my child walk to and from school alone?
No. Children must be accompanied by an adult. If you wish for an older sibling to collect them or drop them off, they must be over 16 years of age and must have identification.  Children in Year 6 can walk home alone but only with written consent from the legal guardian.

Can my child cycle to school?
Yes, if they are accompanied by an adult (except Year 6 pupils). We have a bicycle/scooter stand available.

On my child’s birthday, can they bring in cakes/sweets for the class?
Sorry, no. We try to promote healthy living and eating. We do not permit sweets/chocolates/nut products or crisps in school. You may bring in fruit for the class.
