One of the core roles of a primary school is for every child to fulfil their academic potential and to be prepared for the rigours of secondary school and future learning. At Springfield, we work hard to deliver a carefully planned and balanced curriculum that not only ensures this goal is reached but also fosters a love of learning and the resilience and motivation needed to embrace future challenges .
Every year children across the country take national tests, commonly known as SATS, in Year 2 and 6. They also take a phonic screening test in Y1. Springfield’s results are published on the Department for Education website alongside national averages. This allows us to be able to compare outcomes for our children against children nationally.
