We know that the most successful education takes place when parents, carers, staff and governors all work together.

We see good behaviour as a means of ensuring all members of the school community feel safe and happy and we take a positive approach to supporting children in developing good behaviour and attitudes.

Morning school starts at 8.55am and children must be lined up in the playground at this time. This helps towards a settled start at the beginning of the day and ensures that lessons start promptly. Punctual arrival in the mornings helps children value punctuality, and avoids disruption for the rest of the class. There is an assembly each morning – your child will have special Class Assembly throughout the year which you will be invited to attend.

School Uniform is mandatory at Springfield Primary School.

Online Safety is an important part of keeping children safe at Springfield. We have extensive security measures in place in school, which are monitored both internally and externally, to help safeguard pupils from potential dangers or unsuitable materials. Online Safety is taught to all pupils explaining and demonstrating how to stay safe and behave appropriately online.
